Slick polished floors, shiny furnishings, a light-filled dining room and glass shelves brimming with fine Australian and New Zealand drops makes this a wonderfully sophisticated CBD setting for wining and dining.
The gorgeously crisp Berkshire pork belly with bacon cracker, caramelised apples and cider makes a wonderful starter, followed by a pasture-fed fillet steak with potato gratin, tomato farci and mushroom ragout. Other lip-smacking items include the citrus-cured Tasmanian ocean trout with fennel and baby herb salad; or the pan-fried king prawns with scallop cannelloni and tarragon cream. Discerning foodies will have no trouble choosing two courses here, though it's definitely worth sticking around and unbuttoning the pants for one of the stunning desserts, such as the coconut panna cotta with pineapple and Bacardi granita.
