Tuggeranong's dining scene is more the tortoise than the hare in terms of culinary explosions, but quaint places like this Thai eatery will certainly help. Charlie's Sala, as you'd expect, serves straight-up-and-down Thai food. The menu is broken up into the usual suspects: soups, stir-fries, curries and salads, with a strong emphasis on seafood options. There's nothing on the menu to rival the street vendors in Chiang Mai for chilli heat or ferment flavour, but for a neighbourhood still sorting out its culinary identity, Charlie's is a good start.
