I can't believe this restaurant has gotten such good reviews. We live right across the road from it and I wish it was nice because it would make my life easier.

The food is not tasty, badly presented and just plain average. I have had worse but I have also had much much better just down the road.

Excellent Food
After travelling from Brisbane we decided to try this Thai restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent: an ample amount was in each serving and we were well looked after by the staff. They have a good wine selection at reasonable prices to complement the food. We will make this a must-visit Thai restaurant for our future trips to Sydney.

Amazing Thai restaurant
I'm a big fan of Thai, and try to go to different places - from the ridiculously cheap $4 curry in Glebe, to Thai Pothong in Newtown, Spice I Am, Doy Tao, all of them!

We actually got Charats home-delivered a few times before and I was thoroughly impressed with the food. There's something that makes Charats stand out and I believe it is the fact that they do not add MSG - the flavours are more natural, almost like a well-flavoured dish without added salt. It may seem a little bland at first but it's just the absence of the flavour enhancers and once you realise that, the real flavour of the ingredients hits you.

It wasn't until I ordered the Hor Mok Talay - a seafood dish with squid, prawns and mussels cooked in red Thai curry paste and wrapped in aluminium foil - that I was truly stunned by the quality of this restaurant. And it was home-delivered in a plastic container!

The one time we did go and eat-in at the restaurant it was surprisingly empty - something I'm sure will change as word spreads.

Food to die for
On arrival to the restaurant we did not know what to expect, soon our appetites were awakened by the smell of garlic sizzling combination wafting past our noses to the next table. We knew the night and food would be a success just by that fantastic smell.

Fantastic Food
We have heard that this resturant was the best one in the inner-west and has the traditional Thai flavours. We will be definitely returning again to this restaurant on a regular basis. Overall, it was a great night out.

Birthday Feast
I am not a chilli person but the staff catered for my daughters birthday superbly. My daughter is 15 and her friends came along, not many have tried Thai food before, and it was no problem for special dishes to be made. The children loved the food and did not stop talking about it all the way home. It was great.

Best hidden food in Sydney
I travel around the world and and have eaten Thai food in many countries. I can't believe the taste and quality of the food at this restaurant. It seems to be a husband-and-wife business, the Aussie guy seems to know every customer that comes in. His Thai wife is the chef, she is such a darling little thing. This restaurant is fairly new, watch out for big things from this place once the word gets around.
