Diners are spoilt for choice at the Spot in Randwick and may overlook Chao Praya Thai, but it's definitely worth taking a seat at this unobtrusive Thai restaurant. The menu is filled with the expected array of traditional fare but also includes unusual additions such as chilli crocodile and chilli basil kangaroo. If you find traffic noise disconcerting, a bamboo-enclosed courtyard out the back is filled only with the sounds of people enjoying their meal.
