Despite its location on busy Penshurst Street, this attractive little Thai restaurant represents a momentary escape into a softer, more intimate setting than outside. Formerly Star of Thailand, Chang Ton Thai goes about bringing authentic Thai classics to its north shore clientele, covering soups, salads, curries, stir-fries and plenty of beef, chicken, vegie and fish delicacies. Better yet, it won't burn a hole in your hip pocket, which is all you could ask for of a friendly local Thai eatery.
