In the buzzing dining precinct that is New Farm, Chang Thai didn't burst onto the scene but rather developed a cult following as one of the few places in the cosmopolitan area to find truly authentic Thai cuisine.
All the usual staples you would expect are present on the classic menu, from a pad thai to a laksa or tom yum goong, but with one distinct difference - the dishes haven't been dulled down to cater to Western tastes. Chang Thai is one to seek out when you want to expand your knowledge of Thai cuisine. Try the bhed ob (Thai-style roast duck) or hor mok ta-lay pow (seafood casserole) and enjoy the diversity that true Thai cuisine has to offer.
