Araluen Botanic Park showcases spectacular flora from across the globe. Right in the heart of the gardens, beside a picturesque creek, stands a charming 1930s log cabin that houses the Chalet Healy Restaurant. Warm your toes by the log fire in winter or sit on the verandah in spring under a fragrant canopy of wisteria, and be treated to a mouth-watering medley of hearty, homemade cakes, which, like the gardens, change with the seasons. If you only have a small hole to fill, the baguettes and sandwiches offer tantalizing options, while the hearty cafe-style mains will satisfy bigger appetites.
