This laidback cafe/bar has an affordable modern Australian menu, with Mediterranean and Asian influences. The woodfired oven is a key feature, spitting out vast numbers of popular pizzas such as Moroccan chicken or Turkish lamb.

Classy with Great Food
This has been our second trip to CBD. First time round we ordered one of their excellent pizzas, and I remember being pleased with that, but this time CBD showed itself to be more than capable at great food. We ordered several small bites from the tapas menu, all were fantastic but the standout was the lamb. Mains: Con ordered another pizza and SigOther ordered a pasta and cream garlicky prawn dish that was divine, somehow managing to be slightly smoky as well as beautifully creamy. Absolutely delicious. Can't vouch for the staff, there seemed to be some sort of staff party on so maybe they were just having an off night. There is something off-putting about being served by five different people and having to go the bar and remind them of your drink order. Don't remember having a problem with them on our first visit. Great, great food. A real gem in an area where truly good food seems a bit thin on the ground.
