Mates Rates Mondays
We often pop down for a steak on a Monday as it's all half price so that's a great start. Rib Fillet is always my choice and rare is what I request and get!!! Staff are always friendly and having the special on, the atmosphere is always vibrant. For a cheap steak, you can't go wrong!!

Monday night is locals' night
We are new to the Caxton Street area but decided to try the Caxton on the basis of their half-price mains for locals on Mondays. The menu is only a part of the full one but we were all able to find somthing we fancied. My wife's grilled chicken and prawn salad was "just as I would have made it". Son's steak - which I finished - was big and tender. My schnitzel was about right and the beer-battered fries were right on. Service was pleasant and appropriate for the venue. Three mains, bread and a round of drinks for under $50 - I'm sure we will be back - and we might even go back on a full-price night!
