Caversham House's restaurant, situated under vines and overlooking gorgeous gazebo gardens, is only open for lunch, and it's a good thing, too - you wouldn't want to miss out on that beautiful outlook. The house, now used as a reception centre as well as a restaurant, is set on 4.5 acres of pristine property on the Swan River and has beautiful renaissance-style gardens, a four-storey waterfall and a private jetty to moor your boat.
The food is just as breathtaking, with winter lunch specials including a poached half-crayfish tail with mango and coriander couscous and caviar and lime dressing served with a glass of sparkling. As beautiful a spot for a decadent lunch as it is for a wedding or function, this place won't disappoint.
