Cauliflower Hotel


Amid the sea of pocket bars, small bars, wine lounges, tapas bars and trendy nightclubs that now make up the majority of Sydney's watering holes, here stands this blessedly simple pub.

There's no gimmicks at the Cauliflower, just all the essentials you've always wanted at your local: a nice public bar, friendly staff, reasonable prices and a great bistro.

The menu ranges from cheap eats to super cheap eats and covers all the pub grub classics you would expect from a vintage 1838 hotel. The grilled Asian-style pork ribs are a definite highlight from the menu, as is the weekend brekkie fry-up (a sure-fire hangover cure) and the venerable Aussie tradition of the Sunday roast.
