With its large dining room, long tables, brickwork and archways, the Castle feels decidedly medieval. Thankfully the food has progressed beyond roast meats and mead with mod-Oz offerings such as chicken teriyaki and crumbed scallops. Nestled in a valley with a creek flowing nearby, the Castle is a beautifully tranquil location, but for a lively night out, the bar has live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
