There's nothing better than a bowling club bistro for cheap eats in a relaxed atmosphere. The beer is cold, the pizza's hot and the prices are circa 1972.
The woodfired pizza menu here offers an abundance of different toppings to choose from, all at prices that won't hurt the hip pocket too much. Of course, if you don't feel like pizza, there are plenty of other options to choose from. The mandatory chicken parma makes an appearance, alongside a good selection of pastas and risottos.
Of course, if none of this has convinced you to give this one a go, there's always the greatest attribute of any bowling club: a competitive sport where you can drink while playing.
