For the metro male, this chic gentlemen's outfitter and cafe is a home away from home. You might notice the beeline of impeccably dressed corporates headed to this spot, nestled inconspicuously at the end of Somerset Place, searching out a strong coffee and a tailored get-up.
With its handsome whitewashed walls and woody antique furnishings, you could easily mistake this Mad Men-worthy joint as being only about appearances; thankfully, it's just as dedicated to the cafe portion of the venture as to making sure the clientele leave looking a million bucks.
The menu is gourmet cafe fare. You can eat like the Mad Men, with a Rachel Sandwich featuring NY-style pastrami and winter coleslaw, or indulge in a sumptuous smoked turkey club sandwich. A tantalising range of soups, rolls and baked goods feature, as well as coffee, juice, iced tea and mouth-watering treats like the chilli hot chocolate.
