With 150 years of service to the community under her belt, you'd think this old girl would put her feet up for a bit. Not likely; this place just goes from strength to strength.
The new bistro is buzzing with activity as locals enjoy the sunny new digs and the delicious pub grub. Sticking with the standards such as bangers and creamy mash or crispy golden schnitzels, the kitchen does them well and delivers them at a price far cheaper than many in the area.
The gargantuan burger that is the Sabroso is a three-meat wonder and a must-have for any carnivore, featuring sliced chicken breast, tender minute steak, crispy bacon, salad and house-made aioli served with crunchy chips.
The overall feel of this place is casual, ideal for meeting up with mates or just sitting in the courtyard with a good book and a beer.
