The proudly South Australian Caffe Acqua chain of cafes has carved out a nice niche in contemporary family dining in suburban Adelaide. Firstly, the settings are surprisingly stylish and modern, tinged in aqua, creams and lights browns, and featuring ornate wall designs and light fittings.
Secondly, these cafes focus on hearty Mediterranean foods that everyone knows and loves, ranging from big brekkies, traditional and gourmet pizzas, burgers and pastas, and steaks and seafood. Such dishes include chicken parmigiana, Cajun barramundi, beef schnitzel and blue swimmer crab pasta (chilli con crab).
