The proudly South Australian Caffe Acqua chain of cafes has carved out a nice niche in contemporary family dining in suburban Adelaide. Firstly, the setting is surprisingly stylish and modern, tinged with aquas, creams and light browns and featuring ornate wall designs and light fittings.
Secondly, these cafes focus on hearty Mediterranean foods that everyone knows and loves, ranging from big brekkies to traditional and gourmet pizzas to burgers to pastas to steaks and seafood. Such dishes include chicken parmigiana, Cajun barramundi, beef schnitzel and blue swimmer crab pasta (Chilli Con Crab).
And last, but not least, the wine list is comprised of top Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills wines: further emphasis on the proudly South Australian.
