This Hungarian eatery is an unusual addition to the Italian-dominated Norton Street, so if you find yourself in Leichhardt and have a hankering for something a little different, pop in for Hungarian pancakes, goulash, schnitzel and cabbage rolls. For those out and about early, Zi-Zi is known for its breakfasts, particularly the signature Hungarian three-egg omelettes with ham, bacon, mushrooms and chorizo. Those with a sweet tooth are well-catered for with such offerings as homemade plum dumplings; pancakes with a choice of toppings; and chestnut puree served with whipped cream.
