Joining the highly reputable stable of Vue de Monde restaurants and cafes (which include Bistro Vue, Cafe Vue on Little Collins Street, Cafe Vue on St Kilda Road, Cafe Vue at Heide, and of course, Vue de Monde itself), Shannon Bennett's Cafe Vue at Melbourne airport is yet another example of fine, fresh and seasonal French cuisine delivered in an equally amiable locale. Lodged in the international Airport at Terminal Two, this cafe - like the others - responds to its surrounds, offering Bennett's trademark wagyu burger, among other mouth-watering options, packed up neatly in a lunchbox (along with three other courses) for you to take on the plane. Restoring a little of the old-world sophistication that used to be associated with air travel, the cafe offers stylish lighting and booth seating, and brings a touch of glamour to T2.
