Fun, friendly and always attracting a crowd, this south side stalwart continues to do big business at the fashion end of Chapel Street - where the fashionistas flock with their 'it' bags, big sunnies and bulging purses. For us more low-maintenance folk, it's also the home of Caffe Sienna. Leaving the attitude at the door, Sienna's all about making old - and new - friends feel welcome. It's like Lygon Street but better, because there are no old dudes harassing you at the door to come in.
Once you're in, Cafe Sienna has some serious feel-good decor going on, with an abundance of natural light, red lamps and polished floorboards. The chairs are almost always occupied and in the warmer months, the coveted alfresco area is popular. The Italian fare on offer is consistently good, and while there aren't any great surprises on the menu you'll find some tasty dishes to tuck into. Calzones and pastas are served with a splash of south side cool; and are guaranteed to come with a dash of complimentary perve action to boot. You don't have to be trendy to eat at this house of fun, but you'll walk away feeling it by default.

Relaxed & Funky
A friendly, relaxed cafe that is great to take friends or a partner. The decor is inviting and has a funky feel. The food is always of a consistent quality, and although it is a little pricey, the meal sizes are generous.

Very disappointing food - My calamari was soggy and lukewarm and my friend said her chicken caesar salad was average

Love it!
This is not close to home for me but I have made it my local! The outside tables with above heaters makes it perfect for the girls and I to catch up. I couldn't ask for a better coffee! You must try the Nutella pizza, only available somtimes but it is a must try! All of their other food I have eaten is delicious right down to the lick of the plate. The service is very friendly and welcoming but make sure you book if it's a Saturday night as its very busy! Enjoy!
