This casual restaurant offers traditional hearty French food in a relaxed and determinedly good-natured atmosphere. Try one of the many reliably good regional dishes that are on offer - sit back and enjoy a taste of Paris in Darlo.

Great, every time
Every friend I take here leaves with Sel et Poivre's business card in their hand.
Of all the restaurants in Sydney, I keep coming back to this one. Great, delicious, rich and flavoursome food, good portions, and desserts to die for: chocolate-dipped profiteroles and Sydney's best creme brulee (as voted by a Sydney food writer).
The room is a bit shabby and if you want the French baguette and butter it's $5, but I can't fault this room for it's consistent performance: quality food and good service (cute French accents included).
