I've been to Remy twice and both times have been impressed with the quality of the food, the service and the general feel. We ordered a range of different Tapas and all were delicious with plenty to go round. It felt like a fine dining experience without the attitude or the price tag! Highly highly recommend!

I booked this place for my birthday based on the reviews I had read....and I wasn't disappointed. It is a small bar/restaurant but bursting with atmosphere and ambience. When we arrived there was a guy playing guitar and singing Spanish and Latin American music and he was brilliant. He played most of the night and was very entertaining but not intrusive. We ordered a wide range of Tapas and they were all delicious. I had the best empanadas I have had outside of Argentina. The Paella was also the best I'd ever had - it had a slightly smoky flavour that was amazing. And the deserts......I usually skip desert but because it was my birthday we decided to lash out. We bought a range of different deserts to share amongst the group and I couldn't pick a favourite - they were all so good. The service was great, food outstanding and I felt like I really was in a cosy local restaurant somewhere in Europe. I definitely recommend this little gem.

The recommendation was spot on and better. We went to try this spanish restaurant that was recommended to me at work and it was terrific, for a Tuesday night the place was very busy and buzzing, front staff terrific, most tables were busy and both young men working the floor did not miis a beat. The young spanish man knew what was going on, he recommended his favourite dishes to us and also recommended a delicious spanish red wine to go with our meals.

Overall food, drinks, service and atmosphere was awesome! I recommend it to anyone, you will love it, the spanish feel is certainly in the air.

It will be agreat night out that is backed up by the delicious tasty food and service that they offered.

We are going back to try some of the dishes we didn't have!

I just returned from my trip to Spain where I experienced many good restaurants and Spanish food. But when I visited REMY I was blown away. The food was delicious; presentation was very elegant and most importantly very very tasty.

The cocktails where irresistible with a wide range of great wines to choose from. They also have a variety of Spanish wines!

The music and atmosphere is definitely to go back for. It was fun, happy, relaxed and exciting.

The food was very tasty; all our mains came out at the same time just how we liked it. They have a wide range of Spanish tapas to choose from and also international cuisines.

Service was fantastic! Staff where well presented, understood what we wanted and made sure we were happy and comfortable. On a Saturday night full house, they still managed to greet us on our way in and hold the door open for us to wish us a great night on our way out. Honestly... outstanding service!

My friends and I will definitely be back for more.

This place is now by far up my recommendation list. A must visit!!

If you re looking for a great atmosphere, delicious food and great service, THIS IS IT!!!!!!

Here is my take after dining out at Cafe Remy.

The atmosphere was great:
- Very relaxing and welcoming.
- The seating arrangement is a little odd at first however, the mood of the place comforts you quickly.

The service was a little up and down:
- There was a mix up with our order and it took 40 minutes before we got our mains. They were however apologetic, sincere and came across people who cared about their job.

The food could of been better:
- My Paella felt a little dry for my taste. I found my self having to drink more water and wine (and even had to get into my girlfriend's pasta sauce). Also don't be deceived. The Serving size suggests for 1 person, but you could easily eat it with 2 (I struggled to finish my Paella).
- My girlfriend's pasta was severely over seasoned (too much salt).
- The bacon, chicken and the seafood in both of our dishes was of the highest quality and cooked very well.
- The presentation was simple.

Overall: 3.5 stars

I recently had my birthday dinner at Remy. I wanted to thank the staff for making my evening so special. You guys excelled! The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant looked great! You certainly made my evening very memorable and my guests and I were terribly spoilt. Keep up the good work and thanks!

I'd been eyeing this local place off for awhile, but just never got around to walking in and seeing what it was all about. So when I finally got around to arranging to meet a friend there on this lazy Sunday, I can honestly say we were delighted. We enjoyed a great lunch and a couple of glasses of wine and enjoyed what turned out to be a four hour lunch/feast. The staff were fantastic, they never rushed us and just enjoyed people enjoying themselves. It was brilliant!

After having a wonderful tapas experience a couple of weekends ago, I returned to Remy for dinner and drinks. We were greeted at the door and seated at a window seat and were offered drinks immediately. The service was friendly but discreet and the food was fabulous. It was a very busy night but we were well looked after and will be returning!

I have lived in Armadale for 17 years but never had so much fun eating out so close to our home. The service was spectacular, the food was exquisite and the atmosphere was exhilarating. Well done to the chefs on that night, and the great floor staff - thanks for a great night.

This restaurant is one of the best that l have been in a long time. The food is really very nice, a great variety to choose from. The service is very efficient and friendly,which makes you want to go back. The atmosphere also very alive and down to earth. Overall, excellent food, service and atmosphere; very glad to have gone and will go back.

This restaurant looks great from the outside. We'd walked past a few times since we moved nearby and thought it looked worth a try, but it seems that good looks are all it has to offer.

After walking in, there was a lengthy wait to be seated even though it was far from busy inside. The table was awkwardly positioned next to a jutting-out ledge and wobbled significantly. The wine list was poor, the food ordinary, and the service less-than-attentive.

Overall? Don't bother.
