shame Cafe Pearl coz ur food is tasty
Firstly, I'm a fan of Pearl Restaurant.
The Cafe on the other hand....not...Saturday was my 4th time there for lunch and pretty sure the last (unless takeaway coffee).
The food is really good (which is why I've returned and coffee great)...but the staff are so lack-lust...it's just all too hard for the poor luvs.
Pearl...your food is fantastic & cafe very hip...maybe send some of the restaurant staff a few doors down to put some healthy/happy energy into the place.

Over priced garbage...
ive heard alot about pearl cafe from a few work colleagues of mine. And so it is that i will never listen to them again. I called in an order for lunch so i could take it away. I ordered the curry. When i got there they told me they didnt have any curry available so the made me the laksa instead.
I found it weird that they "ran out of curry" at 12.30pm, but then i read a blog about this place and the blogger said that the food wasnt made on site. Thats when it made sense. Anyway, i got to work with the take away laksa...and it was AWFUL!!!!!
I have never tasted such a bland dish in my life. It was absolutely flavorless! It tasted like noodles with water, im dead serious. NO coconut milk, NO laksa flavor! ARRGGHHHHHHH!!!!
I cant stress enough how upset i am! I am sick of non-asian restaurants bastardising asian cuisine. For gods sake people, dont order the laksa!
The waiters were cool though.
