Attracting a chic local clientele, this North Adelaide bastion of all things Italian pleases with its hearty servings of deliciously authentic Italian staples (think lasagne, pasta and the odd meat and fish dish). Diners here are invited to pop on in at any time of day and perhaps indulge in a wee bit of people watching while imbibing a drop of South Australian vino.

Paesanos was Great!
Just had a lengthy lunch there today and cannot fault it. The food and service were fantastic. I had a delicious blue swimmer crab pasta with chilli sauce.Service was great, I found the staff very attentive and the decor was very elegant. Will definitley be going back.(Another bonus is the parking is free for 2 hours in the underground carpark.)

Not impressed
Don't let the pretty lights deceive you. At least 15 minutes passed before I approached the counter asking to actually order. Cake was brought out too early before the coffee, and then that came out cool enough to scull.
The bill came (10 mins passed between us asking one waitress for it and then another before it finally appeared) and from the price I was told by a waiter I'd been overcharged for the cake. On approaching the manager I received a blunt dismissal and had no room to argue my point.
The only thing that impressed was the UFC 110 replay playing on the television. Enough bad attitude and bad service to ruin your night.

Arrogant service, subpar food
The coffee was average and the cakes we had were dry and tasteless, unfortunately the prices were steep regardless. The service was even worse, they were rude from the moment we arrived and treated us with total disrespect. Arrogant service and tacky over the top decor.

No paesano of mine
This was my first and last experience of Paesano. Very disappointing overall from the lack of service to the poor quality of food - do yourself a favour and try elsewhere unless bad food is your thing. I've never had a worse Calzone to date! Watch out for the inclusive gst added again to your bill at the end!

ricotta crepes
Try the delicious ricotta crepes. They were absolutely beautiful. I have been to this restaurant quite a few times and the meals have been great. Servings could be slightly larger but the ricotta crepes are to die for. Delectable and delicious, plus nutritious!

Don't bother
A group of us booked for dinner after work on Friday. We were seated and ordered drinks and we waited. And waited. Reminded waitress about our order and was told "it's Friday night - we are busy". 2 more friends joined us and we asked for more seats and they said "no, we are fully booked" Can't rate the food - we left. Crap service, crap attitude.

breakfast
we came for breakfast looking for a weekdat venue for a staff breakfast for 50 people. we sat for an hour waiting for our order....2 people who came in well after us were served our meal by mistake. we finally got sick of waiting when a well meaning waitress realised we'd been forgotten. still we waited, and finally decided to leave....and the point of this review is the manager came over, told us it was busy, took the money for our coffee and did not offer the one thing that would have redeemed paesano's...an apology....guess we'll be taking that breakfast for 50 people somewhere else.
