Cafe Morso

Cafe Morso sits shoulder to shoulder with a daunting selection of posh eateries, all taking advantage of the unique water views from Jones Bay Wharf. Morso shares the priceless position, but offers a more laidback sort of dining with breakfasts, sandwiches and bistro-style lunch meals. The majority of the seating is outside, protected from mildly inclement weather by the balconies that jut out overhead. This allows diners to soak up the sunlight and the views to East Balmain and North Sydney while savouring such lunch dishes as the wild mushroom tagliatelle with white truffle oil and sage. Breakfasts are must, with options such as the orange and yoghurt pancakes with berry compote and real maple syrup appearing among the usual brekkie favourites.

Lunch
Despite very poor rainy weather, our lunch was terrific with attentive service, a great selection of meals and wine.

The food was very fresh and tasty and the service personal and warm.

Recommend.

excellent
I stumbled across Cafe Morso with my parents, and what a find! The food was excellent, however deciding what to eat was the hard part. The service was great and the outlook is lovely. Will definitely return soon.

Great food, EXCELLENT coffee and highly attentive service
My wife and I have just returned from another great brunch at Morso, a lovely sunny day outside by the water in the sunshine, chatting with the friendly staff that had their eye on our table the whole time so you are never left waiting, coffee that was so good that we ordered another one each (they obviously spent time finding a talented and trained barista) and a great selection of imaginative food using top quality ingredients prepared fresh by chefs in the kitchen.

My wife summed it up well by saying that it is like going to Bathers Pavillion in Balmoral and having an excellent dining experience by the water however at half the price.

Two thumbs up - especially on Sundays when many other places are closed.

P.S if you like bacon and egg rolls you HAVE to try their famous massive extra lean bacon and egg focaccias with homemade tomato relish.
