I will not going back again
Never thought of Shangali-la hotel group will provide the buffet in this quality. I have been to many different shangali-la hotel buffet dinner around the world, this is probably the worst i have tried so far. Just around 8:30 pm, the oyster bar was almost empty, only got a few pieces left over there, and they don't ever borther to reload the bar. Service is not as good as the other shangali-la hotels for sure. The waiter was so forgetful (not even a busy night) and tried to pour water into my glass of white wine. Hot food quality was awful. So disappointed.

Fabulous buffet
On a recent visit to Sydney we decided to eat here after an exploration of The Rocks area. With no reservation, and delegates from an in-house conference already tucking in, we were greeted with smiles and ushered to a quiet corner table with partial views of the harbour.We then indulged in an excellent buffet which included fine seafood, salads, Chinese and Japanese dishes as well as delicious hot selections. The buffet was continuously re-stocked and refreshed, and the service excellent yet unintrusive. My only regret was not being able to squeeze in a decent serving from the amazing dessert selection, having to make do with a couple of chocolate dipped strawberries that my teenage son 'forced' me to have after he'd personally dipped them in the chocolate fountain..bliss!
