Cafe Mint adds a designer touch to the grungy end of Crown Street with beautifully prepared Middle Eastern food and oh-so-groovy decor. Their North African dishes are brimming with flavour, aromatic with spices and very reasonably priced into the bargain. Anything with lamb or chickpeas is a standout here, but possibly the restaurant's most popular dish is the very more-ish (pun intended) sweet breakfast couscous.

Deliously cramped
Mint's food is spot on, be it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Given its cramped venue, the staff are more than helpful with trying to accomodate. The scrambled eggs with mint, spinach and fetta was deliciously creamy, the turkish toast crisp and buttery, all requests for picky accompanying diners was embraced with humour and accomodation. A favourite.

Run very far away!
We have frequented this venue on many occasions and we think the service is bitchy. We kept going back because the food was good but there would always be an after-effect of a bad taste in your mouth after hearing the waiting staff bitch! Bad atmosphere, good food - they won't be getting another dollar from me when there are so many other good places in the vicinity.
