Cafe Lomah (an acronym for "Land of milk and honey") is about celebrating the good things in life, but also recognising that not all people are so lucky.
At this casual little Ascot Vale noshery you can grab a fresh, hot breakfast and also make a contribution to poverty-stricken communities in Africa. It may seem like bacon and eggs with a side of guilt but for a fairly modest price you can get a belly full of tasty cafe fare and a warm feeling inside you only get from doing something charitable.
By all means indulge in a big brekkie with the lot or a short stack drizzled in maple syrup, but maybe you could lay off the second or third cup of coffee and contribute to helping those truly in need.
