It's a rare find to come across any kind of 24/7 haunt in Sydney, and if you find yourself in Sydney's east, this is one of the best and quirkiest options. The clientele changes by the hour, from backpackers to artsy Darlo types, ambulance drivers, taxi drivers on their shift break and bar-hoppers hoping to sober up. Aside from the convenient hours, the other draws here are the house coffee blends and a Spanish menu that's straight out of Madrid (as is the owner). With all of the faded, eclectic paintings and so-dingy-it's-cool surrounds, you could imagine yourself in a late-night cafe in NY's Greenwich Village. So whatever time of night, pop in for some doughnut-like Spanish churros and a strong cuppa.
