Located along a picturesque beachside strip in Semaphore, this quaint cafe gives its Bondi counterparts a run for their money. For starters, the menu features down-to-earth tucker at its very best. Along with the usual slew of caesar salads, focaccias and baguettes, Cafe Froot serves breakfast all day long; meaning you can indulge your bacon-and-egg-tooth after the conventional morning hours. Unlike the aforementioned Bondi equivalents, you won't have to pay Sydney prices. Here, nibblies can start at just $3.50 and a main meal will rarely cost you more than $14.50. Dessert is always on the menu with the infamous 'death by chocolate', a favourite among regulars. By the time you manage to settle in for a sweet bite, you'll have noticed Froot's bohemian decor - it's a little hard to miss. Writing off the popular obsession with all things minimalist, the owner has opted for a refreshing mix of citrus orange and vivid green walls. In fact, if it weren't for the steady stream of customers, you'd almost be tempted to taste them. But then, with a menu this good, who needs to?

LOVE this cafe!
The green eggs & ham is fantastic...crispy prosciutto, nom nom! Fresh juices & coffees are amazing too, but it's the service that makes the experience. Friendly, accommodating & quick service in a busy, bustling area of Semaphore. A must try!
