A fun and vibrant cafe, this little gem serves a variety of modern Australian meals with a great balance of attentive, friendly and relaxed service. The owners love to promote the local art and original live music scene, so cafe Falduzzi can often prove a very entertaining night out. Be alert and keep your finger on the Falduzzi pulse to make sure you catch one of their random and very popular theme nights. These involve a five-course set menu to a theme following countries, colours, sports... anything really. Who knows what the Falduzzi friends will throw at you?

Great food, good location
The maitre'd always greets you with a smile, and a warm greeting! Food is excellent - changes regularly with plenty of good specials.
Warm in the winter, good wine list with many wines by the glass and a good atmosphere. Service is efficient and friendly.
The only negative is there is not dessert menu - other than that, great spot.

Too full-on!
OK, so I'd heard from my friends that this place was awesome - fun, loving and joyous. That I would agree with but our experience wasn't great. My husband's birthday, about 16 guests all at a table jammed up against the side wall of the restaurant and right in front of the guy singing and playing the guitar. That meant wait staff coud not get to anyone sitting with their back to the wall and it meant the place was too loud where we were seated to conduct anything resembling a conversation. Everyone else in the place looked to be enjoying themselves, but for us it was cramped, rowdy and just a bit disappointing.

Best Kept secret in Freo (not anymore)
I have to admit that I an surprised that Falduzzi hasn't received any review's, But the secret is out as every one down here in Freo is talking about these guy's!! Exciting, Creative, Modern Food to exceed the most critical standards, Very cool and relaxed (think Freo) atmosphere with well trained and capable staff. The wine list is very reasonable, as is the menu and both seem to be updated regularly. In short the most original place to pop up in Freo for yonks. And my all-time absolute favourite!! And I am a restaurant addict.
