Bad Taste
Have eaten here many times, usually its passable fare. However, last night 3 people ordered the Salt and Pepper Calamari, which tasted as if the salt and pepper had been left out - very floury and flat. When I asked for the Chef to check the dish there was no response whatsoever from the kitchen. Staff when asked what was happening simply said "They're lookng at it." So we waited, had dessert, coffee, cheese and waited, and waited. Nothing. So I paid the bill, nothing, no comment. So I guess that means they don't need our custom - well I agree.

Best Brekky Restaurant 2006 winner
Definitely deserves this award...been there twice for breakfast. Both their mushroom and salmon dishes were absolutely gorgeous. Can't wait to try their lunch and dinner menus. Definitely recommend it to anyone who lives within 5-10 minutes drive from Cafe Conti.
