Citrus serves up a disgrace of a Citrus tart
Disgraceful excuse for an $8.50 dessert. Citrus Cafe serves up a service station 'citrus tart'. I can get them for $3.50 up the road. It was stale and they didn't even bother to tart it up with a blob of cream. My comment of disappointment was dismissed. May have only been a dessert, but the contempt for the public speaks volumes. Wait staff were friendly and efficient but I will never walk through their doors again.

Dissatisfied
We have been to Cafe Citrus a few times and been disappointed but thought we would try it again. Sad to say were disappointed again. Couldn't complain about the service as it was very quick and friendly but the price of the food for what you get is hardly worth a star rating. I had a light meal, slow roasted duck breast with orange and zucchini & pine nut salad. Not much duck but the plate was full of salad leaves still with the stalks on and not much of anything else and the orange was canned mandarins. The steamed vegetables were so hard I complained about them.

If sloppy is your go...
Cafe Citrus was a major let down. Always walk past and thought would be good place eat. How disappointed i was. We ordered big breakfast, food took too long to arrive. Was cold when we received, looked awful and was tasteless. Bacon was covered in oil, the whole plate was covered in oil.

Food substandard for restaurant prices
Good service, however all our meals were a let down. Pancakes were thin, cold and rubbery. They couldn't have been cooked fresh as they came out way too quick. Coffees arrived after all meals and at $3.90 a pop. You can pay the same amount at some cafes in the Teneriffe area and receive exceptional food.
