It's wise to keep your belly empty before tucking into a "big belly-vista breakfast" at Cafe Bellavista. And when a breakfast consists of grilled bacon, mushrooms, tomato, hash browns, baked beans, sausages, toast and eggs however you like them, it's an especially easy task to save your appetite till you hit the cafe. With lovely park views and an extensive alfresco area, this hotel restaurant provides a calming spot to enjoy a Mediterranean/Italian antipasto, pasta, risotto, steak, chicken, calamari or prawn dish.

A hidden gem
The Cafe Bellavista is one of Perths hidden gems, and I'm actually wondering if I should tell people, for fear of it becoming overrun. Despite being a Motel restaurant, this cafe is one of the most consistent cafes in Perth (and believe me, my partner and I have eaten at many), with excellent service, quality Italian-style food, and very reasonable prices. I have never failed to come away from the Bellevista completely satisfied with every aspect of the cafe. The food isn't pretentious, it's just well presented, quality food, served within reasonable time frames, and with attentive service. Their pizzas are excellent, and are very popular, if pizzas are your thing. They do takeaway as well as dine-in pizzas. My favorite is the chicken parmigiana, it comes with chips and salad and is always perfectly cooked and well-presented. The Bellavista takes Entertainment Book vouchers as well as CC's. They specialise in week-time meals more than the weekends, as they don't open for lunch on either Saturday or Sunday. They are open in the evenings on weekends, though.
