What a great party venue
I had a cocktail party at Barocca recently and was blown away by the quality of the modern cocktail food and the eager, friendly staff. The venue is a classy but a relaxed environment. I would recommend this venue to any of my friends and has a great place to go out clubbing afterwards.

Terrible Service
I had lunch today at Cafe Barocca as a part of a group. I ordered a chicken burger. The meal was presented well, but was quite bland as it merely contained a piece of chicken and salad. When I asked the waiter for some salsa or mayonnaise to add to my meal, he went to the servery window where he loudly asked the chef if they had any salsa or mayonnaise. The response from the other waiting staff and kitchen staff was laughter and scoffing as they wanted to know who made the request. It was then another waiter who said (whilst laughing) he would take the mayonnaise out to the table so he could 'see' who made the request.
I have never been made feel so embarrassed for asking for a condiment in a restaurant before. What happened to customer service?
Needless to say, I will never return to this restaurant again.
