Eats and meets are the main fare at this retro-chic eatery richly decorated in Victorian regalia, which happily blends elements of the past with aspects of today in both its decor and the menu.
Large blackboards take pride of place on the classically papered walls, detailing chef Kath Lunny's menu of share plates, such as salt and pepper squid, and flatbreads with such ingredients as roast duck, mushroom and plum sauce.
Stop by during the day for an enticing lunchtime selection, or after hours for the kind of meal you always wished your mum would make. You'll never know exactly what will be on the menu though, as it changes frequently. The bar side of the venture also opens till late every day except Monday.
