Located in an ex-wartime bunker underneath Milton Station, this cafe is surprisingly open and welcoming to passers-by. The layout may not have been ideal for repelling hordes of Nazi invaders or stopping the red tide of communism, but it certainly makes for a pleasant backdrop to enjoying some seriously good coffee.
As the name suggests, Bunker specialises in two of mankind's most serious, legal addictions: coffee and chocolate. There are plenty of other cafes offering ostensibly the same thing, but the point of difference at Bunker is the little things. From the freshly-roasted Black Star organic beans to the real chocolate grated over your cappuccino or natural agave used as a sweetener, once you taste it you'll appreciate the extra effort.
