Infused with a sense of history from its former life as the Colonial Bank Building, Bunja Thai Restaurant is a majestically presented dining room that makes you feel positively royal, even just for an evening. Greeted by a hand-crafted Thai statue at the entrance, you are then welcomed into the high-ceilinged space where you can pick your favourite wines from a cellar housed in the old bank vault (Bonnie and Clyde missed out!). The food menu offers much that tantalises, such as spring rolls, curry puffs, soups, salads, curry pots, stir-fries, noodles, and rice and bread specialties that are truly Thai.

I liked it as much as I liked the building
I have had the lunch special here ($10) which was great so I wanted to have dinner with friends. We had a number of the dishes and they were all fantastic. I was impressed with the service as well. Highly recommend this place.
