Budapest

The interior is decorated with plentiful timber and bright red panels - warm and comfortable, it matches the hearty Hungarian fare. Massive serves of goulash and chicken paprika are placed in front of daunted diners who meet the challenge admirably, washing it down with one of the broad range of European beers and finishing off with a fruit brandy.

What a great find!
What can I say..... great fresh food, generous servings and some great beers. We went on a Tuesday night when they have musicians roaming the restaurant which really made the night. Will be back!

Great food, good atmosphere
Budapest is a great little restaurant. Their range of authentic Hungarian food is excellent - try their schnitzel, as well as a dash of fiery paprika.

They also serve good Palinka (fruit brandy), which you must try. Live music on Tuesdays. Overall, a good, unpretentious restaurant with great food and friendly staff.
