Primarily a deli, this little eatery has quickly become a bit of a Fitzroy institution. Serving a range of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern dishes, cakes and cafe classics, Alimentari offers plenty to satisfy a sudden piercing hunger (often brought on by perusing their wares), or to take home for a delicious and comforting home-style dinner. Many of the Middle Eastern options are supplied by Abla's - another Melbourne institution that features prominently on many a foodie's list of favourites.
