A true Brunswick original, this laidback and eclectic community pub sits covertly behind an old shopfront, though don't judge this book by its cover. Inside, the front bar is packed with kitsch memorabilia, from old-fashioned lampshades to old tram signs, and also features pool tables and a fireplace that carves out a cosy and familiar environment indeed. Outside, the lush beer garden is peppered with picnic tables for those glorious beer-soaked summery afternoons out. The food menu here is pure pub grub of the good sort, including sausage rolls, enchiladas, pies, calamari, tofu wraps and hot chips.
