Newport locals will know what I mean when I say the northern beaches aren't exactly a haven when it comes to quality coffee. That's why a place like Brother Albert is such a welcome addition to the cafe landscape.
Sequestered down a shopping arcade that has seen better days, Brother Albert's doesn't scream "coffee destination"; however, once inside, the spacious table layout and warm hum of the coffee machine are enough to put you at ease.
Expect stellar coffee in the form of Paul Bassett beans, accompanied by a select few single origin roasts. Food is your standard cafe fare for the most part, but executed with an attention to detail that is a rare find in your average cafe.
