Breadwell offers old-fashioned comfort in the heart of the CBD. The beautiful frontage, the vintage crockery and the quaint little touches make for a fresh and pretty space to escape from the office and relax over lunch. Those who are not normally attracted by 'pretty' things might be seduced by the simple comfort food on offer. Soups and baguettes, pies and quiches are tasty and cheap cafe fare done well - and such good value that it seems criminal to pass up a muffin or a slice of nougat on your way out the door.

A delightful experience
This delightful hidden treasure was found by my wife and I on a business trip to Melbourne. The food wonderful, the staff very helpful and the atmosphere warm and inviting. I highly recommend Breadwell to anyone wanting to experience a Melbourne cafe at the peak of the game.
