This glass-fronted little cafe with a few tables strewn on the pavement outside is cosy, cool-looking and welcoming. Plus, it has a very cute cuckoo clock, and who doesn't love a cuckoo clock? The huge windows catch the winter sun, making it a popular spot for cold Melbourne weekends spent indoors doing what Melburnians do best - eating great food and drinking great coffee.
The menu is short and sweet and includes some distinctly Turkish sounding delights, such as the baked eggs with feta, cucumber, tomato and olives; the pide with roasted pepper, feta, spinach and baba ghanoush; and the watermelon, strawberry and mint salad with yoghurt, pistachios and a rosewater syrup. The muesli here is one of the top-five mueslis in Victoria, according to the Herald Sun, and we're not going to argue with that.
