Italian food - very disappointing
Dinner last night in the beautifully decorated Botanic Cafe, East Tce Adelaide was very disappointing.The hour long wait would only have been lack of staffing: when food finally arrived pasta was undercooked, flavourless and would have cost all of $4 to make! Scallops nice but very expensive for 5 scallops in pastry and jus.Gnocchi was packet bought with a jar of tomato sauce...not homemade! Never going back!

I completely disagree with these reviews. I have been a customer at botanic for years. service has never dissapointed and the food is fabulous. Even during fringe and new years eve when they were packed to the rafters we still didnt wait too long and the atmosphere was fun. My daughter had her 21st there and she and her friends loved it. It has a really great friendly vibe and staff have great knowledge of the products. I reccomend to anyone new to the botanic to try the pork belly or the zucchini flowers when they have them...soooo good :)

very disappointed
Food was awful (pasta swimming in oil and overcooked). We were seated at the tiniest table with my partner being pressed to the wall, not being able to get out because we were so close to the next table. Never going back.

Bad Botanic
Terrible food (very tasteless) and bad service in regards to food being sent back. Set menu was VERY over priced.
