Taking over the old site of Da Gianni, this new modern bistro breathes a welcome bit of life into what was a tired venue. With a fresh lick of paint and a new direction, Booth St Bistro has singlehandedly brought mod-Oz fare with a distinctly Euro slant to Annandale. The seasonal menu is constantly changing but diners can expect to see anything from a poached ocean trout salad with pickled onions to a ballotine of corn fed chicken with a white bean cassoulet. It may not be reinventing the wheel but from the looks of it this wheel is running straight and true and doing exactly what it promises.
