Named after one of the most decadent desserts of the world, the ice cream/sponge cake/meringue hybrid known as bombe alaska, this sophisticated restaurant on Willoughby Road packs plenty of surprises up its sleeves. The cuisine is predominantly Italian with a few international and contemporary Australian flourishes here and there. Popular dishes include the homemade gnocchi, the New Zealand venison and, of course, the star of the show, the bombe alaska itself.
