If the name doesn't give it away, then the menu will: This place packs a spicy punch. With a mix of traditional Indian dishes such as butter chicken, chicken korma and chicken tikka, this is a consummate subcontinental menu. A good selection of wines means you can team your favourite masala with the perfect drop. Not to be outdone by the menu, the restaurant's decor is unashamedly Eastern, with exposed wooden floors, deep purple walls and natural fibre seating. It exudes Bollywood charm.

What a great place!
A perfect dining experience from the moment you enter till you leave. We got excellent service to choose our orders from their extensive menu. Go for the lentils - they are to die for. My Indian friend told me they were the best ones he had ever eaten - apart from his own dear mother's of course! While dining we got just the right amount of attention form the wait staff. I dislike it when waiters hover over you, or never ever look your way. The atmosphere in the restaurant is not over- decorated, the design unmistakably modern Indian, the perfect place to make you feel warm and content on a shivering cold night, and it certainly facilitates interesting or romantic conversations! When the bill came it was not exactly cheap but fair for the experience. Highly recommended - and at that end of "Canberra's Chinatown" it is even easy to find parking just across the road! How good is that?!

Great!
I've been here a few times and each time I have been very happy with the food and service. Friendly staff and delicious food - can't complain. It's a little pricier than other Indian joints in the area, but the food is better too!

Lovely restaurant, good Indian food
It's a cute little place with nice decor and efficient, friendly service. I agree the prices are higher, but the menu is different from most Indian restaurants with more seafood on the menu. The food is good, if not particularly authentic. I recommend trying the leg of lamb.
Overall, this restaurant provides consistently good food and fantastic service.

Delicious Indian food and fabulous service
The service at Bollywood is outstanding. The food was delicious, although a bit more expensive than other Canberran Indian restaurants. The interior of the restaurant was stylish and comfortable. A lovely dining experience, especially for a special occasion.

fantastic experience all-round
Though the interior is quite tiny, the atmosphere is not in the least bit claustrophobic - on the contrary it is warm and welcoming. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was fantastic. Not a single word of complaint, it was a fabulous dining experience.
