Decked out in modest shades of brown, Bollywood Dimensions appears as a much more demure restaurant than the name would suggest. Head here for a function or during one of their theme nights, however, and it's an entirely different venue, with upbeat music, Bollywood dancing and even karaoke if requested. The rest of the time, the major draw is the menu, which focuses on north Indian kormas and tandoori dishes.

Everything seemed good until the food arrived...
My partner and I arrived at this restaurant for a celebration dinner. Comming in, the decor was pleasing - nice looking tables, comfy chairs, fabric draped over the clinical looking stainless steel to warm up the whole place. A large tv was showing 'the best of' selections from movies of the restaurant's name sake. The staff were very courteous, and extremely prompt in getting our orders (admittedly the place was nearly empty). The menu was extensive - possibly too extensive, you are given too much choice. The wine list was impressive, and at a very reasonable price. After making our selections, the entree arrived. No complaints with the food there, it was when the mains arrived that the problems started.
The lamb was rubbery and over cooked, the vegetables under done and almost raw. The gravy for the curries was quite nice, but were over shadowed by the badly prepared food.
The 'saffron' rice had saffron on the top layer only, most of the bowl was filled with normal steamed rice, the naan bread was a little tasteless.
It seems that the menu is too large, and the kitchen could be improved by cutting down the menu, and concentrating on preparing the food correctly.
It is a shame that the wait staff's service was over shadowed by the poor food.
