The more laidback option of the dining choices at the Matthew Flinders Hotel, this one is great for families and groups after a no-fuss meal that's budget-friendly.
The menu mostly sticks to its (and hopefully your) comfort zone, dishing out choice after choice of pub grub classics and more international fare. The different cuts of steak and evergreen chicken parma are balanced nicely against an Indian-style lamb biryani or Malaysian nasi goreng. For a bit of an indulgence, you might also try the chicken avocado and prosciutto "fantasy" of baked chicken breast wrapped in prosciutto and finished with avocado and orange hollandaise, served with your choice of rice or vegetables.
